I spent all morning volunteering at my best friend's dojo, cleaning mats and judging a board-breaking competition. It was a fundraiser for USO and In the end I think we brought in about $2,000.
Things got interesting when I was trying to pass the time by doodling with pens on some of the broken plywood boards. I sketched my best friend in her gi and wrote "Breaking boards? Easy as ∏!" next to it, since my friend likes math and science.
Well, after that everyone was ooing and aahing over it, and a man asked me to draw his son so he could buy the board for $20. And basically I took commissions so kids who broke boards or their parents c
Soon enough we will likely be experiencing a time jump! This roleplay could potentially be our last in the present we are currently in. We may even go into the time jump THIS roleplay! Please think about the future of your character!

Recap: The Hybrids found their way to a large lake after evading the company into the safety of the forest. With the help of Bindi and Chitter, they easily found water but they quickly realized its danger as Alfred came close to drowning. They had a moment to relax before a helicopter was spotted. This helicopter was unlike the company's with a green and blue earth logo and no guns to be found. Inside, a cou
Recap: The hybrids seem to be out of harms way after escaping the city together! It seems that everyone is out and in one place; Satsu is injured but it isn't life-threatening. Eon shows her extensive knowledge further by tending to his wounds, Bindi and Chitter have smelled and heard water quite a distance away, and feel that reaching it is their next step.
This week!~~~: The hybrids follow the direction of the water for a while. Once they get there, they will encounter unusual visitors; the time will come then when each hybrid's trust is put to the test, as well as their willingness to stay with the rest of the hybrids.

Been working really hard on the script for REM. Whenever I get to an awkward part I just keep going - I'll smooth that stuff out later.
In film one page of script is typically one minute on screen, and so far I have ten pages. This is good because at this rate I'll tell the whole story is about 20 pages, and my goal was to do it in less than ten. Things are pretty set so I'll be going into full visual development soon; I've already done a lot of sketches in my sketchbook but no real colored concept art yet. I also have to figure out some new techniques to animate some of the stuff in the story. I'm excited. :D
And since you guys might be wo

Scripting is really hard D: (with EDIT)
EDIT: I think one of biggest problems with this script is that I chose the wrong character to tell the story. Thus I'm in the process of changing the focus of the script to a different character. This will be the first story I write out all the way with a lead protagonist who is truly an adult, so it should be interesting. I've done kids, teens, and animals before, but this time it's a grown woman. This is something I really need to get good at, so I'm glad.
Also I think my pacing is terrible in the first part of the story, so I'm working on that too. I'll start in the middle and write up to that point with this new focus and it should clear
